Like all of our rainwear, the Overpants are designed for hard-core bushwalking in Antipodean conditions: multiday trips in serious terrain carrying a rucksack. Cut to allow the high steps, leaping and cavorting common to both extreme bushwalking and cabaret, these comfortable overpants have articulated knees to allow full freedom of movement. The 25 millimetre waist belt keeps the pants snugly where they’re meant to be, and is just elastic enough so the pants can be pulled up without readjusting each time. Knee-length zips ensure the pants are easy to get on and off, whilst a built-in 500-denier Cordura gaiter reinforces the boot area.
We’ve designed our rainwear for bushwalking in Antipodean conditions. Lightweight garments are great for hillwalking in Europe, but add a rucksack and a bit of Tassie scrub and they won’t last long. It's here where the performance of our Overpants will stand out: in design, in durability and in comfort.

For enhanced comfort in wet conditions we’re now using eVent® as it’s (probably!) the most breathable, waterproof shell fabric available. It is a waterproof, breathable fabric that allows unparalleled levels of breathability and user comfort. A PTFE laminate combined with an unique membrane protection system allows water vapour to pass through eVent up to 200 per cent faster than any other waterproof breathable fabric on the market.
We make our rainwear from eVent with a 212 gram polyester face fabric and a tricot lining. The resulting three-layer fabric is durable, supple, light and quiet.
